Dance Cuban and Brazilian with Ramon and Tânia in Carnaval '08!
Sunday February 3 through Sunday, May 25
Rehearsals are 2-4pm
The fee for each rehearsal is $8
During Feb we will also collect a modest one-time registration fee from each dancer.
Ramon Ramos and Tânia Santiago have teamed up to choreograph a stunning Carnaval Contingent the year for San Francisco's Annual Carnaval parade on Sunday, May 25 drawing upon Afro-Cuban-Brazilian traditional and popular salsa & samba musical rhythms and dance moves.
Are you ready? The first rehearsal will be at Dance Mission, 24th St. & Mission, Sunday Feb. 3 from 2-4 pm and each following Sunday.

Due to popular demand, Bruce "Mui" Ghent is holding another Taiko workshop! Learn the art of this traditional Japanese drumming from the Taiko Director of Dance Brigade, Bruce "Mui" Ghent. This eight week intensive workshop is a way for drummers to work closely with the teacher and other students. Open to students who attended the Taiko workshop in Spring 08/Fall '07 or by instructor permission.

CubaCaribe Presents Fourth Annual CubaCaribe Festival of Dance & Music
The Fourth Annual CubaCaribe Festival presents three consecutive weekends of thought provoking performances, workshops, and lectures featuring the work of accomplished Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian, African-American, and African choreographers, including Ramón Ramos Alayo, Luis Napoles, Danis "La Mora" Peréz Prades, Tannia Santiago, Portsha Jefferson, and Michelle Martin.
